On 11 November 2007, a farewell dinner was held to thank Pastor Alan and his family for their service to East University Chuch of God for the past six years and to extend best wishes and God's best to him and his family as they move to a new congregation in Ohio.

Our congregation is affiliated with the Church of God in Anderson, Indiana. We believe that the Gospel message of Jesus Christ is "the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes."
